The Inaugural PDK and Stone MS PTSA Fun Run
Saturday, November 12, 2011 marked the inaugural fun run event. It was blistery cold but all 20 participants prepared for a mile run/walk. PNC Bank representatives faced the cold air and provided us with water and hospitality. The proceeds will provide a teacher scholarship to be awarded to a teacher at the March 21 PDK Dinner Meeting. Families and volunteers had a great time at the event. As we plan for next year's event, we plan to have a sanctioned 5K run with our 1 mile walk/run and perhaps in more warm weather.
